Who We Are NOT a Good Fit For
Not every project matches every studio. Being honest about fit saves everyone time and money. Here's when you should look elsewhere.
You Want the Cheapest Option
We're not a budget studio. We charge market rates for experienced work. If your primary selection criteria is lowest cost, offshore options or junior freelancers will beat our pricing. The tradeoff is quality and communication overhead.
You Need Non-Game Software
We build games. If you need a mobile app, business software, or a website, we're not the right team. Game development skills don't transfer directly to other software categories.
You're Building Non-Action Games
City builders, farming sims, visual novels, card games, match-3 games - these need different expertise than what we offer. Our specialization is shooters and action games. A generalist studio or one specializing in your genre will serve you better.
You Want to Maintain Full Control Day-to-Day
We work collaboratively, but we're not a body shop. If you need developers who follow instructions without pushback, we'll frustrate you. We offer opinions, identify problems proactively, and expect to be treated as partners, not vendors.
Your Timeline Is Unrealistic and Non-Negotiable
"I need a multiplayer shooter in 3 months" with no flexibility isn't a project we can take. We'll tell you a realistic timeline. If you need it faster anyway, we're not able to help - and any studio that says they can is likely to disappoint you.
You're Looking for Revenue Share Only
We don't work for revenue share on client projects. We have our own games for investment risk. Client work is paid work. This isn't negotiable.
Your Project Requires Crypto/NFT Integration
We don't build games with blockchain, NFTs, or play-to-earn mechanics. This is a values decision, not a technical one. Other studios specialize in this space.
Who We ARE a Good Fit For
Founders Who Value Technical Expertise
You want a team that understands the hard problems in game development and can solve them. You're hiring for capability, not just availability.
Producers Who Want Honest Communication
You want to know when something is going wrong, not be told everything is fine until it's too late. You can handle direct feedback and expect the same in return.
Teams Building FPS or Action Games
Your project plays to our strengths. You benefit from years of genre-specific experience rather than paying for us to learn on your project.
Clients Who Can Fund Development
You have the budget for professional development and understand that quality takes investment. You're not hoping to find a team willing to work cheap.
People Who Want Long-Term Partners
You're looking for a relationship, not just a transaction. Post-launch support, updates, and future projects are on your radar.
